Save the Date: 24 January, the seminar on responsible tourism at FITUR 2014 (Madrid)

save-the-date-en-finalOne more year, our member Koan ConsultingCETR-Spanish Center for Responsible Tourism and AEPT Spanish-Association of Tourism Professionals, will hold at FITUR 2014 the Seminar on Responsible Tourism, which is a traditional event in FITUR and this year reaches its 6th edition.

They would like you to make a space in your agenda, since this year they are addressing a key issue which is the marketing and commercialization of Responsible Tourism. Far beyond its philosophy and concepts, Responsible Tourism needs for its survival to reinforce the essential pillar of economic sustainability, and for this aim there could be nothing better than talking to those who have experience trading in the environment of a competitive and changing tourism market.

The novelty of this year is the presence of Nicaragua as a guest country, known for its efforts to develop a  sustainable and responsible tourism. After the welcome message by the CETR and AEPT, José María de Juan (KOAN and CETR) along with the representatives of the tour operators AgrotravelRutas Pangea and TOPS Nicaragua,  will introduce the theme and will keep on moderating the  event.

Following KOAN’s traditions, after the presentations and debate, the event will be continued with a networking cocktail to contribute to build network among the professionals and thus consolidating responsible tourism in Spain and in the world.

Later KOAN will send you the detailed program of the event. Also, all the team of KOAN would like to remind you of the relevance of this meeting, so as to start a new year with full energy. They will remind you as well other key activities in which we participate at FITUR 2014.
