Borghi Autentici d’Italia (BAI) invites you the Festa BAI 2014, a three-day event that will take place from the 20th to the 22nd of June in Pietralunga (Pg), a charming village surrounded by the green hills of Umbria region, in Central Italy.
Festa BAI 2014 is a precious chance to talk about local and sustainable development and to share good practices and experiences while enjoying concerts and discovering Pietralunga and its delicious typical cuisine.
It will also be the chance to take part to the “National School of Paesologia”, an initiative promoted by the poet and writer Franco Arminio: the school proposes a new, collective way of exploring and understanding a village in its complexity, in order to stimulate new ideas of future sustainable development.

Who is Borghi Autentici d’Italia?
BAI is an association that gathers small and medium-sized communities, local authorities and joint bodies for local development, promoting an articulated path of development at local level, in order to avoid and contrast such phenomena as the progressive impoverishment of rural areas and the abandonment of small towns and villages.
