The third edition will take place at the 2012 European Green Capital, Vitoria-Gasteiz, in Spain, from June 30th to July 3rd, 2015.

This year, the event will be hosted by Basquetour. Basquetour is the public company of the Ministry for Economic Development and Competitiveness of the Basque Government, created in 2006 to head the promotion and implementation of the strategy for competitiveness established for the Basque Country.

The Summer School will once again brings together key representatives of the tourism sector: donors, policy makers, industry representatives, project management practitioners, academics and entrepreneurs to share practices on how to plan and manage tourism funding with sustainability, and also to improve project management and effectiveness in the tourism sector. The Summer School is the PM4SD™ annual event, promoting it as the methodology to apply in tourism projects and to discuss the professionalization of project management in sustainable tourism.

The Summer School is organised by FEST, the host organisation Basquetour and, for the first, together with the European Travel Commission. The European Travel Commission is the non-profit organisation responsible for the promotion of Europe as a tourist destination in third markets.
