– 17th September : Interpreting our European Heritage final conference
Thursday, July 9th : Mygrantour final conference (9:00 – 13:00)
The aim of the final conference is to present the results of this 2 years project regarding the creation of a European network of migrants driven intercultural routes to understand cultural diversity.
The project “MygranTour” has been co-funded with support from the European Commission and promoted by many organisations, including EARTH. It units the European network of Migrant Cities, which enables Italian and European citizens of old and new generations, tourists, students and the plain curious to discover, through the words of migrants, the many secrets – large and small – unknown to even born and bred locals. As a result of the EU project, training courses and research on multicultural neighbourhoods have been organised in nine EU cities (Turin, Milan, Genoa, Florence, Rome, Marseille, Paris, Valencia and Lisbon). New tours, workshops and walks for schools and citizens are mapped out and communications campaigns carried out at local and international levels. More information about Mygrantour project HERE.
The conference will be followed by a networking lunch. The Agenda and more info will come in the next days.
